Let your ideas transform into soulful and impactful stories!
You may already have stories, thoughts, emotions, and ideas within you, but struggle to bring them onto paper. This course is designed to help you bridge that gap.
At KalaVriksh, story writing is not just a skill—it is a journey of self-expression and inner discovery.
What makes this course unique is the integration of Ancient Indian Poetics with modern narrative structures. While focusing on modern structures of “plots” like the three-act structure and all, we also focus on Rasa (the emotional essence). Based on the principles of the Natyashastra, Kavya-Prakash, and other books, we explore how to evoke specific emotions in your reader, ensuring your story isn’t just read—it is felt.
1. Awakening the Story Within – Understanding observation, imagination, and idea generation. Identifying the “Why” behind your story.

4. Creating Emotional Depth – How to make stories that readers feel, not just read? You will understand concepts like रस, अलंकार, भाव-अभिव्यक्ति, etc.
5. Impactful Dialogues – How should your characters speak? Strong dialogues are an essential part of a good story, like “कितने आदमी थे?”, ‘All is well!”, etc.
6. Decorative Descriptions – You will learn how to describe characters, places, objects, etc., that your reader gets transported into the world of your imagination!
7. Camera Set-up – Do only films need a camera set-up? No! Stories need that too! You will learn different types of narration, point of view, etc.
